Our Swim the Lakes Gift voucher can be used to book our Introduction to Open Water Swimming Course, any of our guided wild swims, swim breaks, and any products in the shop.

Vouchers are popular presents perhaps to give someone a taste of open water swimming on one of our short guided swims or the beginners’ course and they are also perfect for the regular open water swimmer. There are plenty of trips or equipment to choose from.

Our Gift Voucher… Just a few suggestions:

For £100, you can use it on an Adventure Swim Day or towards an Adventure Swim Break.
For £55 you could choose one of our popular beginner’s Introduction to Open Water Swimming Courses, which provides a half-day experience and tuition or perhaps an Adventure Swim Day.
For £35 you could choose a short guided wild swim suitable for beginners to more experienced swimmers. These make good tasters and are a fabulous swim experience that they are certain not to forget.
Or choose from our range of wild swimming accessories and goggles.

1. How to place your order.

Just enter the amount you would like to make the Voucher worth.
Proceed through to the secure checkout. At this point, you can choose to:

send the voucher to yourself or
send voucher to someone else by entering the recipient’s email address.

You can then write an optional message to the lucky recipient.

You can purchase as many vouchers as you like for multiple people.

NB: only the person whose email address you send it to can redeem it online.

You’ll receive an order confirmation at the end of the checkout confirming your order.

2. Receive your Gift Voucher.

Once the Voucher order has been processed by our staff, we will then email the lucky recipient with their voucher automatically. Vouchers are processed by us during office hours. It can take 1 -24hrs to receive the voucher email. Vouchers give you the option to print if off if you would like to. All vouchers are emailed, and not physically posted.

Please check junk folders if you/they don’t see your email.

3. Redeem your Voucher.

The recipient simply redeems the Voucher online on this website www.swimthelakes.co.uk ONLY against any product or swim.
We regularly update our website with new dates and courses so please do check online at www.swimthelakes.co.uk.

We advise the recipient to make their booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment as some swims can get booked up quickly. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, which means that they must be redeemed during this time.

Voucher terms: All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and must be used within this time. We regret there is no cash alternative and no change can be given.
Vouchers redeemed against a swim booking cannot be exchanged for goods once the booking has been confirmed. Once a booking is confirmed it is treated as a swim booking and you should refer to these Swim T&C’s and the section on cancellations for information. Please see our full terms here.

Swimmer requirements: We welcome all swimmers and variations in group ability will be catered for by our experienced staff according to the type of outdoor swimming planned, however swimmers must meet the swim ability requirements for the course or swim that they wish to book. If you have any special requirement please contact us directly so that we can advise and help.

Wetsuit Hire: Depending on the value of your voucher you may be able to include your wetsuit hire, its also available for just £6 wetsuit hire info is here. Wetsuit hire should be booked in advance.

Confirmation emails: We will email your voucher and redeemtion instructions after purchase, please use an email address that you use regularly & check your ‘spam folder’. Many thanks.

What you need to know:

Open water swimming by its very nature is outdoors and in a natural environment,please read our Swim Trip FAQ’s to ensure you are well prepared and get the most from your swimming adventure.

Its unlikely, but we may need to make changes to the itinerary due to changes in weather conditions.

All participants must be 16 years or over, and those under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
